Whispering Lakes

Whispering Lakes is an established subdivision on the southwest side of Naperville, in the Will County portion of the city just east of Route 59. It was developed from the early 1990s onward as the area filled in, and today it reads as a settled community of larger detached single-family homes on curving, sidewalk-lined streets.

The neighborhood is built around the ponds and open green space it takes its name from, with homes set on landscaped lots along streets such as Deer Chase Lane. Substantial two-story designs and well-kept frontages give the streetscape a consistent, established character, and the community is organized under a homeowners association.

Residents are close to the Route 59 corridor for shopping and dining, the forest preserves and trail network of south Naperville, and the I-55 interchange to the south for regional travel. Downtown Naperville, the Riverwalk, and the BNSF Metra station are accessible by car, balancing a quiet residential setting with the access that draws buyers across Chicago's western suburbs.
