West Wind is an established neighborhood on the west side of Naperville, set off Rickert Drive west of River Road in DuPage County. It took shape between the mid-1980s and the mid-1990s, and the streetscapes today reflect that era: detached single-family homes on curving, sidewalk-lined streets framed by mature trees.
Downtown Naperville, the Riverwalk, and the BNSF Metra station sit roughly a mile and a half to the east, while the shopping and commuter routes along Route 59 and Aurora Avenue keep everyday conveniences close at hand.
