Timber Creek is an established single-family community on Naperville's south side, in the Will County portion of the city. It was developed later than the older neighborhoods to the north, as the area south of 95th Street filled in, and today it reads as a settled neighborhood of large two-story homes.

The homes are predominantly substantial two-story designs on landscaped suburban lots along quiet residential streets. Knoch Knolls Park lies just to the east, where the DuPage River, trails, and a nature center give the neighborhood direct access to open space. That green, open setting has helped keep Timber Creek a steady draw in the south Naperville market.

Residents are close to the Route 59 corridor for shopping and dining, the forest preserves and trail network of south Naperville, and the I-55 interchange to the south for regional travel. Downtown Naperville, the Riverwalk, and the BNSF Metra station are a convenient drive north, balancing a quiet residential setting with the access that draws buyers across Chicago's western suburbs.
