Steeple Chase · Naperville, Illinois
A neighborhood of larger single-family homes built from the mid-1990s into the early 2000s on Naperville's northeast side, south of Ogden Avenue and east of Naper Boulevard.
“A newer northeast-side neighborhood of larger single-family homes, where curving streets and a settled streetscape sit minutes from the I-88 corridor.”
Steeple Chase took shape from the mid-1990s into the early 2000s on Naperville's northeast side, south of Ogden Avenue and east of Naper Boulevard. Its curving streets, including Beau Bien Boulevard and Eugenia Drive, were laid out as a planned single-family subdivision with sidewalks, curbs, and street lights, giving the neighborhood a consistent, finished feel from the start.
The homes are larger two-story designs on full suburban lots, a step up in scale from the older neighborhoods nearby. Exteriors run from traditional brick-and-siding colonials to transitional elevations with covered porches and attached garages, and the landscaping has filled in over the years into a mature, settled streetscape. The result is a cohesive enclave that reads as newer construction while still feeling established.
Steeple Chase sits close to the Lisle border, minutes from the I-88 corporate corridor, with the I-355 tollway a short drive east. Downtown Naperville lies to the southwest, and the nearby Lisle station puts the BNSF Metra line within easy reach. Naper Boulevard and Ogden Avenue lead quickly to the shopping and dining of Naperville's east side.
