Rivermist is an established single-family community on Naperville's south side, set in the Will County portion of the city where it borders the DuPage River near Knoch Knolls Road. Built out from the late 1980s into the 1990s, it has the mature, lived-in character of a neighborhood well past its building era.

The homes are spacious single-family designs on generous lots, several set around the neighborhood's ponds and the wooded land along the river. Tall trees and well-kept landscaping give the streets a calm, leafy feel, while the interior, low-traffic layout keeps the community quiet and secluded.

Knoch Knolls Park, its nature center, and the DuPage River Trail sit nearby along the water. Everyday shopping and dining are close by. Downtown Naperville, the Riverwalk, and the BNSF Metra station lie a short drive north, pairing a peaceful riverside setting with full access to Chicago's western suburbs.
