Hobson Village

Hobson Village sits in central Naperville, west of Olesen Drive in the wooded pocket that takes its name from Bailey Hobson, who settled along the West Branch of the DuPage River in the early 1830s and built one of the area's first grist mills. That heritage is still marked today by Hobson Road and the preserved mill site at Pioneer Park. The Village sits among the cluster of long-established Hobson neighborhoods near the river corridor.

Most of these residences went up across the 1970s and 1980s, single-family homes set on generous, wooded lots beneath a mature tree canopy that has filled in over the decades. The location keeps downtown Naperville, the BNSF Metra line, and the I-88 corporate corridor within a short drive, a practical balance for buyers weighing an established setting against easy access across the western suburbs.
