Farmington is an established single-family neighborhood in southeast Naperville, set in the Will County portion of the city just north of the East Branch of the DuPage River. It took shape in the 1980s as Naperville's growth reached the area along Naperville Boulevard.

The homes are predominantly two-story designs on consistent lots, framed by the mature canopy and established landscaping of a neighborhood well past its building era. Its interior streets keep through-traffic low, and the nearby river corridor and neighborhood parks lend a green, settled character.
